The RAND Corporation will hold a media conference call on Tuesday, May 13 to discuss armed aerial drones and U.S. security.
Among the issues RAND experts will address:
- Are drones transformative weapons?
- How dangerous will their proliferation be?
- How can the U.S. balance the need to provide drones to its allies and to keep them out of the hands of adversaries?
- How can U.S. use of drones help to shape a broader set of international norms that discourage their misuse by others?
