Rep. John L. Mica, R-FLA., U.S. House of Representatives

Get your conference off to a great start with an official welcome address from Congressman John Mica! Hear how Florida is fostering unmanned systems technology and economic development in the state, and why these technologies are important to Florida, the nation and our world.

Mica was first elected to the House of Representatives in 1992 to represent Florida’s 7th Congressional District. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Government Operations in the Oversight and Government Reform Committee and continues his work to support job creation, cut wasteful and duplicative programs and protect taxpayers’ hard earned money.

Lt. Gen. Kevin W. Mangum, Deputy Commanding General/chief of staff, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command

Mangum is the former commanding general of the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence and Fort Rucker, Alabama. Before that assignment, he served as the first commander of Army Special Operations Aviation Command, which was formed on Fort Bragg in March 2011.

He led the Army Special Operations Aviation Command from 2011 to 2012 and was previously assigned to Joint Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg.

Rep. Frank LoBiondo, R-N.J., U.S. House of Representatives 

Tuesday’s general session will conclude with an address from Congressional Unmanned Systems Caucus member, Rep. Frank LoBiondo.

He is a member of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, and takes great pride in serving as the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Aviation, given its critical importance to South Jersey. He also sits on the Subcommittee on Highways and Transit and the Subcommittee on Coast Guard & Maritime Transportation, both of which have jurisdiction over critical issues that affect New Jersey’s growing and ever-changing transportation needs. A staunch advocate for strengthening our nation’s security, LoBiondo also serves on the House Armed Services Committee and is a champion for New Jersey’s bases and service personnel, especially on issues of military pay and benefits. And, appointed in the 112th Congress, he serves on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
