Last month at the U.S. Embassy in Wellington, Todd Kleperis representing Liquid Robotics presented to an audience from New Zealand’s science and defense sectors on the Wave Glider®, the world’s first wave powered, autonomous marine robot.
The marine robot is designed to help collect data for climate change, national security, hurricane and tsunami warning, and offshore energy and resource management. The Wave Glider® marine robot works off wave motion and can be at sea for over a year without service.
